How do I know if my mobile number is linked to Aadhaar

Follow these steps to find out if your current mobile number is linked to Aadhaar.

Aadhaar is a 12 digit unique number that serves as proof of identity in India. This is one of the most important documents that can be used when opening a bank account, applying for a passport, booking e-tickets and many other places where proof of identity is required. However, if you have an Aadhaar card, it is important to register your mobile number along with your Aadhaar number. This will allow you to receive a one-time password (OTP) that you will need to use for verification purposes.

According to the UIDAI official website, "You can link your email address and mobile number to Aadhaar at the time of enrollment or when updating Aadhaar information"

If you do not remember your mobile number associated with the Aadhaar card at the time of enrollment, it was mentioned in an earlier post on how to find it. Don't worry, though, you can find your linked mobile number within minutes from the UIDAI website.

All you have to do is follow the steps given below
